An international art exhibition Contemporary Art in Asia is held by the Cathay Pacific Airways. The exhibition starts in Singapore (Apr. 8–?), and tours to Kuala Lumpur (Apr. 22–25 at the at A.I.A Bldg.), Tokyo (Jul 16–28, at the Keio Department Store, Shinjuku), Fukuoka (Aug. 2–8 at the Shoken Bldg., Tenjin), Osaka (Aug. 13–18 at Sogo Department Store Gallery, Shinsaibashi), Taipei, Bangkok, Jesselton (present-day Kota Kinabalu), Manila, Seoul, Hong Kong, Calcutta (present-day Kolkata).
