Joint Exhibition of Young Artist Groups is held (Dec. 11–16 at the Central Information Hall, Seoul). It is a joint exhibition by three artists’ groups, Mu (nothing) Group, Origin Fine Arts Association, and Shinjeon (new exhibition) Group. On the 14th, Happening with Plastic Umbrella and Candles, the first art performance in Korea, is conducted using Choi Boonghyun’s installation work and the script by Oh Gwangsu. The artists also demonstrated to demand the reform of the government’s art policy in streets.
