Abstract paintings are exhibited for the first time at an exhibition of young artists by the Union of Mongolian Artists, including G. Soosoi, O. Tsevegjav, and P. Baldandorj. The exhibition is immediately shut down by the People’s Revolutionary Party, and the Union leaders are summoned by the party to explain the exhibition of “Capitalist Art.”
