The 2nd Asian Art Show (Nov. 2–Dec. 1, Fukuoka Art Museum), with 268 artists from 13 countries, is held with the special exhibition Art of Bali. Along with the exhibitions, Asia Festival and the symposium “Contemporary Asian Art: Its Future Perspective” are held. The exhibited works are divided into two and tour to the prefectures in Kyushu as Asian Contemporary Art Exhibition. The exhibition also tours to the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Korea (Aug. 26–Dec. 25, 1986).
