Rauschenberg Overseas Culture Interchange (ROCI) is held (Nov. 18–Dec. 8, National Art Museum of China, Beijing). The exhibition causes an impact on Chinese art history by introducing works using various mediums and styles, such as collage, assemblage, and photography. The exhibition triggers a Pop Art boom in the Chinese art world. The exhibition also tours to Lhasa from December 2 to 23 at Xizang Exhibition Hall.
