Taiwan Museum of Art opens by the Taiwan Provincial Government
Under the Taiwan Provincial Government’s Department of Education (changed to Department of Culture after 1986). Reopens as National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in 1999 after the closure for renovation in 1988.
