Dhaka Art School is founded. It is named East Pakistan College of Arts and Crafts in 1963, Bangladesh College of Arts and Crafts in 1972, and becomes an art institute in 1983 before becoming a Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Dhaka in 2008.
