Shimoda Seiji et. al open Nippon Nagano Performance Art Festival as the first edition of the performance festivals (Feb. 24-27, Nagano Prefectural Culture Hall). From 1995 onward, it continues today as Nippon Internatioanl Performance Art Festival (NIPAF).
