The Chinese Woodcut Exhibition is held (Feb. 19–28 at the Ginza Mitsukoshi Department Store, Tokyo). The exhibition features the works from the Eight-year War of Resistance Woodcut Exhibition that are donated by the All China Woodcut Association to Shimada Masao of the Institute of China-Japan Culture Study. Daily visitors to the exhibition reach approximately 1,200.
